This course equips AL-Ps with the expertise to work effectively with clients facing neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis, stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s, spinal cord injuries, and cerebral palsy. It covers essential neuroanatomy, nerve communication, and provides tools for assessing function. AL-Ps will also gain the skills to design tailored programs for individuals with neurological conditions, ensuring safe and effective outcomes.

- Create safe and effective fitness programs for people with cerebral palsy, including balance, coordination, and strength assessments.
- Assess and help clients with traumatic brain injury or concussion, especially in areas like balance, strength, and coordination.
- Design exercise programs for clients with spinal cord injuries, focusing on their specific needs.
- Understand and help clients manage conditions like Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s Disease.
- Establish a strong referral network for comprehensive care.
