Biography - Chris Schaalo
My childhood was spent exploring anything and everything athletic I could (volleyball, soccer, basketball, X-country, track etc), but discovering football and later rugby would be what really began to shape me. I love that both sports share a unique necessity to find people of all skill sets, body types, and personalities to mold together into one functioning team. No individual is more important than the group, and the lessons I learned on the field really laid the foundation for the person I eventually grew into.
I began my coaching journey as a shy 14-year-old, on a mission to pay forward all those who helped me, and haven’t stopped since. Nothing gets me more jacked up than helping someone discover the necessary tools to elicit changes in themselves, and being able to make a living doing this supporting our lovely family of 4 is something I have a lot of gratitude for.
